Qld go one up in the first Origin game. I told you all this would happen.
*** Stu Fisher (POPular Trivia) is joining the party. Stu will host the new trivia night at The Pig n’ Whistle, West End, starting on June 29th. If you’d like to join Stu, book a table by calling 3062-2510. ***
We may not be the most politically correct trivia crew in town but we do have some fun.
Leave your preconceived ideas of what a trivia night is at home and come and join us at one of our five venues for a laugh.
The Pig n’ Whistle Pubs have become an institution in Brisbane and we are happy to say we’ve been with them every step of the way, including our latest trivia night beginning soon at West End.
Coorparoo Bowls Club is a good old bowlo. Cheap drinks, cheap eats and all the old people have left by 4pm to get home for tea. That leaves the club open to a younger set for laughs over a beer or twelve.
Come and say g’day.

How does trivia work? I’m glad you asked. Trivia nights are comprised of four rounds, one general knowledge, one sound round, a picture round and a special subject round (which changes every week). There are prizes for the winners of each round and there is a prize for the winner of the entire night. We have some quirky little rules for breaking ties and spreading the prizes around but the only two rules that really matter are:
1. NO CHEATING
2. DON’T ARGUE WITH THE HOST
There is a third rule that is not mentioned often and it refers to John Farnham’s time with the Little River Band but let’s not get into that.
Lunchtime trivia includes just the first two rounds but there are still prizes for each round.
Come along and have a laugh, after all, that’s what it’s really all about.
